As the debate over the debt ceiling rages on in Washington, D.C., the politicians should be aware of an interesting spectator watching their actions with keen interest.
That spectator is none other than Gabriel. He watches and listens with focused attention as his fingers twitch slightly on the keys of his horn.
Those who know Gabriel well are aware he has been itching to blow his horn and end what he considers a “failed experiment" on planet earth for sometime.
Gabriel has pleaded his case many times in the past to end the world, but has been rebuffed each time. A benevolent deity is still hoping for a favorable outcome.
However, the advent of the “tea party movement” in American politics has given Gabriel new hope he now can present a convincing argument that the human condition is hopeless.
After today’s news out of Washington, I wouldn’t bet against him.
