Today we have a culture war going on in the United States. There are three sides in this war. They are: Those who have almost everything; those who have something; and those who have nothing.
Now those who have everything have just about won the whole prize, but not quite. While they cleaned out those who have nothing, they still have to take what’s left from those who have something to complete the cycle.
Now, strange as it may seem, those who have almost everything have to enlist as allies those who have nothing to take what’s left from those who have something. Now that’s a quite a trick if you can do it.
And that’s exactly what’s happening today. It seems we humans have a propensity for being suckers as P. T. Barnum* once pointed out. To make it even more interesting, once being taken, we humans have a need to hate and place blame.
Now all of this is well and good, but since we are suckers to begin with, the ones who fleeced us in the first place are equally good at placing blame on someone else. And we are all too willing to take the bait.
So after fleecing and leaving those who have nothing, the ones who have almost everything managed to place the blame on those who have nothing in order to fleece those who still have something.
There in a nutshell you have politics in the United States today.

*"There's a sucker born every minute" is a phrase often credited to P. T. Barnum (1810–1891), an American showman. It is generally taken to mean that there will always be many gulliblepeople in the world. (Wikipedia)
