The Pizzaonian Council of Monks (PCM) and pizza conglomerate, Pizza digogo DiVinci are concerned when a prominent and respected figure in Pizzaonian politics like Brother Giovanni engages in an activity many Pizzaonians consider weird at best and psychotic at worst. However, in the interests of full disclosure we support The Pizzaonia’s decision to publish these letters and conversations
When asked about the controversy Brother Giovanni seemed unconcerned. “I have never made any claim that the Jesus that I correspond with is the JESUS.
Brother Giovanni added, "I hope to continue my letters and conversations with Jesus because I think they are interesting to our readers. There is also a chance that he is who he says he is."
In the interests of full disclosure, "The Pizzaonian" will continue to print the information that Brother Giovanni makes available to us. Diverti Mento, editor

Giovanni,
I am sorry that I have not been writing for the past month but the more I get involved with the religious attitudes in this country the more perplexed I get.
Are you spending more time in Pizzaonia? I know you are still with the Pizzaonian. How is that going? It looks like the Pizzaonian is a good place for you, despite the controversy I seem to cause each time I write to you. Tell them to get used to it since I will be writing more often from now on.
Since I left Wisconsin, I have been driving west across the country and have finally stopped in Northern California where I will spend some time and get some rest.
Now that I have had sometime, I need to share some thoughts with you.
You are going to have to help me get used to the way organized religion works in the world and in particular, the United States. When I listen to late night religious shows, I hear a lot about “the word of God.” The one thing that amazes me is how well people think they know me. You know how I feel about people who think they need to protect me. It seems protecting me has become a full-blown industry.
One thing you cannot help but notice when you talk to non-believers is every time you mention my name you can see their eyes glaze over and mentally shut down. I know it was never easy, but something is very different here, and it really disturbs me.
We have to start making a distinction between religious fanaticism and faith. This is going very hard for some folks since they believe you cannot be one without the other. I am going to need some help with this one and I want you to think about it.
Have to go now. Here is something you might find of interest. As I came west, my name did not attract as much attention. One reason I suppose is there are so many more people here whose name is Jesus – interesting.
Your friend,
Jesus
