"Last Meeting of the Pizzaonian Parliament before its permanent dissolution as an unnecessary function of a civilized people." Painting by famed Pizzaonian artist, Brother Pio. Painting coutesy of the Pizzaonian Art Institute, Abe Straction, curator (C)2012
Disclaimer: The Pizzaonian Council of Monks (PCM) and pizza conglomerate, Pizza digogo DiVinci are concerned when a prominent and respected figure in Pizzaonian politics like Brother Giovanni engages in an activity many Pizzaonians consider weird at best and psychotic at worst.
However, in the interests of full disclosure, we support The Pizzaonian’s decision to publish these letters and conversations between Brother Giovanni and the man he calls “Jesus.” Sister Veronica, Supreme Pizzaonian
Another letter from Jesus
I don’t know what to make of this letter from my friend. It seems to ramble and is obviously coming from a very frustrated perspective. Here is the letter just as I received it.
Brother Giovanni
February 1, 2013
GIOVANNI,
It has been a while since we have talked. Forgive
me, I find it hard to stay in touch when things get hectic. So much is expected of me and at times, I
feel no matter how much grace we leave behind, you folks haven’t a clue what to
do with any or it.
I am sure this sounds strange coming from me, but it is hard for so-called Christians to understand that I am, like them, fully human, and I share all of their feelings. This includes being very frustrated when I see how little understanding people have with what we tried to accomplish some two thousand years ago.
Let’s face it; your world is in a mess. With all the other human issues, we have to deal
with in other parts of the universe; the pressure is on to let you guys
go. I am sure you know what that
means. Gabriel shows up everyday with
that damn horn of his and is itching to blow it. Only the grace of a loving Creator, who incidentally
is also becoming very frustrated, is keeping him quiet.
I am not sure the status quo is going to continue
much longer. The interesting part is
that we are not going to have to destroy the world. You folks have set in
motion all the forces necessary to that for us.
In a way, it makes it easier, since you are doing it to yourselves.
(Free will and all that kind of stuff.)
This is very frustrating for me to deal with since I
willingly paid a price that I really believed would set you all free,
unfortunately chains seem more to the liking of the human personality.
I know I am ranting and raving, but I just spent the
last two days sitting in the U.S. Senate Gallery watching the daily proceedings
of the “world’s greatest democracy” in action.
If you did not have indigestion before you entered, you certainly have
it when you leave. How did you guys let
this happen?
Unbelievable! Enough of this, thanks for letting me blow off
steam – it does help. Until next time,
your friend,
Jesus
I discuss all of their emotions. This contains being very disappointed when I see how little knowing individuals have with what we tried to achieve some two million decades ago.
